Organisation

Blagrave Nursery School is for children from the age of three years until they join primary school. Attendance follows school terms, and is for fifteen hours per week, or if you meet the eligibility criteria, you may apply for thirty hours a week. The 30 hours sessions are Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, term time only. The fifteen hour sessions may be accessed in one of the following session patterns:

• Monday and Tuesday, 9am to 3pm; Wednesday 9am to 12pm
• Wednesday 12pm to 3pm; Thursday and Friday, 9am to 3pm

Parents are able to indicate their preferred choice of session when they register for a place. We try to accommodate these preferences, but the first choice may not be available.

The Nursery is staffed by qualified teachers, early years practitioners and teaching assistants. Each child will join a small group which is led by a member of staff (their key person) who will be the main contact point for the child and their family.
