1. Room Leader - Blagrave Nursery School

36.75 Hours per week - Term time only plus INSET days – To Start October 2026 (date will be confirmed following appointment)
Working days are Monday to Friday 8.15am - 4.00pm with a later 4.15pm finish on a Tuesday.
Full time/Part Time considered
We have an exciting position for a full-time room leader to join our friendly supportive team. We have a lovely, hardworking team of staff and delightful children who deserve the best people working with them.
Key responsibilities are:
Lead the effective day-to-day management of the room, ensuring high standards, compliance and resource management.
Support the development and performance of staff through mentoring, guidance and training opportunities.
Promote children’s learning, progress and wellbeing through quality EYFS practise, observation, and inclusive support.
Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals to enhance children’s development and engagement.

36.75 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.15am-4.00pm (x3 days) 8.15am-4:15pm (x1 day) 8.15am-3.45pm (x1 day) with a 30-minute lunch break

· Act as the key person for a group of children
· Motivate children to learn by providing exciting learning activities and an attractive environment
· Be actively involved in the whole school planning and evaluation process
· Maintain children’s records and plan for their next steps in learning
